I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University at Buffalo. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). I also worked for the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) as a Research Engineer/contractor for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH. I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics and Control from The Ohio State University in 2015.

My research interests include the modeling and control of power electronic systems, dc microgrids, fault detection using parameter estimation techniques, and optimal utilization of energy sources.

I am a recipient of the the NSF CAREER Award. I am currently the Vice Chair and founding member of the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Technical Committee 11: Aerospace Power.
