Vampires have historically made their presence known on the Blood Bowl pitch only as members of Undead teams. Count Luthor von Drakenborg is one of the most feared and dangerous Star Players ever to tread the path of Nuffle. However, those all-vampire teams that didn't evaporate during their first game in an open stadium on a sunny day were frequently staked by unhappy fans.

When Jervis Johnson published rules for rookie Big Guys, he included a statline for a rookie Vampire. All-around worse than the Vampire star, these rookies suffered from a fatal flaw - a taste for blood so overpowering that they frequently missed large stretches of a game slaking their thirst. Clearly, these Vampires came from the shallow end of the blood pool, so to speak, unable to control their short-term desires, even for long-term gains.

Enter the Vampire Counts. Descended from ancient bloodlines dating back hundreds or thousands of years, the Vampire Counts and their minions possess a self-control and powers unknown by your everyday, run-of-the-mill bloodsucker. In contrast, however, far fewer of them exist. Those Vampires who do not submit to the will of the Vampire Counts are dealt with ruthlessly and quickly, leaving only those who remain in the good graces of the masters.

Here's a look at what you can find in this section:

The Teams: The Teams section deals (naturally) with the rules for including Vampire Count teams in your league. You will find the team rosters and special rules there.

The Season: The Season section includes the rules we are using in the local test league. It also contains the season standings and current team rosters.
