The Strigoi: Cast out from both human and vampire societies, the Strigoi are shunnned for both their misshapen appearance and their ancient betrayals. Taken in by tribes of roving Ghouls, they have risen to the ranks of leadership, assuming the role of Ghoul Kings. They abhor enchanted items, relying instead on their supernaturally sharp talons and tough hides in battle. They lurk in the southern provinces of the Empire, biding their time for the moment.

Special Rules: Strigoi shun magic, and may never take Magic Item special plays. Furthermore, Strigoi Vampires have a unique trait, Supernatural Aura.
Supernatural Aura: The Strigoi do not wear armor, but possess supernaturally tough hides. To represent this, rolls made against a Strigoi Vampire's AV may never be altered for any reason! This works just like the Daemonic Aura trait.
In addition, Strigoi teams must abide by all the rules that apply to normal Vampire Count teams.
