  1. Project Title: Filter Pressure Drop Testing Project
  2. Project Background
    Develop the testing equipment and process that will provide characteristic pressure drop curves of various vacuum pump filters
  3. Project Objective
    Scope: Use existing designs and or similar industry testing apparatus as the model to keep cost of the project low and the ultimate results that match example pressure drop curves. Expectations: Create a simple test apparatus for testing Vacuum filter Pressure Drop using air and allowing for test samples to be wetted or dry. The interface could use desktop or laptop interface. Software is not specified, however, keeping costs of the system manageable would be a priority. A secondary expectation, where possible, would be to incorporate flexibility to expand the testing apparatus to be able to use fluids other than air.
