The Center on Hybrid Nanodevices and Systems of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, The University at Buffalo, State University of New York, invites applications for a part-time, one-year postdoctoral position.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. The applicant should have experience in the area of low-temperature physics, particularly at performing low-temperature transport measurements on metallic and superconducting nanowires. The applicant should also have good knowledge of fabrication techniques to produce such structures, and experience of fabricating wires or channels from AlGaAs/GaAs two-dimensional electron gas structures. The applicant must also have good programming abilities in C/C++, Matlab, and LabView for simulations, equipment integration, and automation.
