BIOGRAPHY

I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in June 2007 after working at the Broadband and Wireless Networking Laboratory (BWN-Lab) under the direction of Prof. Ian F. Akyildiz.  I then joined the Electrical Engineering Department at the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. I had previously received my "Laurea" (equivalent to M.S.) and Doctorate degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Rome ‘‘La Sapienza’’, Rome, Italy, in 2001 and 2005, respectively, after working with the Networking Group of the INFOCOM Department, advised by Prof. Francesca Cuomo.
