Pulling Down the Train
The train was flown for approximately 20 minutes, more than
satisfying the required time of flight for an official record.
Pulling down the train required the help of a large number of
people. Some of these people were those that helped carry the
train from the Mall to the flying field the rest were spectators
from the crowd. There were families, officials, including the
mayor of Lakes Entrance, grand parents and people from all
walks of life. It was great to see all these different people come
together and get involved. Most of them had never touched a
kite since childhood or if ever but all wanted to be part of this
historic event.
