When you come to visit us for the Festival, come a few days early or stay a few extra and see some more of this great State of ours. The South Australian Tourism Commission has made available a range of brochures, so if you would like information on the Barossa Valley, The Outback, The Riverland, The Flinders Ranges or any other area, please let us know and we will send it to you.

Head for The Coorong!!
Immediately following the 1998 Adelaide International Flight Fest we will be hosting a Kite Flyers Retreat on The Coorong. The plan is...no plan. It is a time to unwind after the Festival, relax, fly kites, buggy or even go fishing!
The area is magnificent for flying and buggying with a huge area of hard pack, miles of enormous sand dunes and, on the other side of the dunes, a 180km stretch of beach!
We will be staying in caravan parks and, whilst we will base our flying around the Tea Tree Crossing area, each day will bring something new with visits to The Granites, 48 mile crossing and other unique spots.
After you have had a couple of days to see a bit of Adelaide, we will head off on the Wednesday and will return on the Sunday. Let us know, we'd love to have you join us.

Just two of the amazing areas in S.A., the River Murray (L) and the rugged Outback (R). These and many more are well worth a visit.

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR SPONSORS
We are fortunate indeed to have a great group of sponsors signed up at this early stage.
Through Australian Major Events we have the South Australian Tourism Commission. They are supporting us both financially and with promotion for the event, both locally and around the World.
The City of Port Adelaide Enfield have been truly wonderful, with both financial assistance and major infrastructure help.
Living Health, through their SunSmart capmaign, are providing financial assistance.
Adelaide's Channel 9 are assisting with advertising and promotion of the event.
5AD FM are providing radio promotion as well as the Beach Meets to coincide with and become part of the event.
The Kite Factory are assisting financially as well as with event organisation and management

The Coorong National Park is a unique part of the World, with wetlands, sand dunes, beach and more. Over 200 bird species and 275 plant species call it home. At the North-West it finishes at the mouth of the Murray River, and in the South-East at Kingston, famous for lobster. A short drive inland finds the Naracoorte Caves and the famous Coonawarra wine district, all possibilities on our agenda.
