Launching the Cody
Corey Jensen trying to launch a single line kite? I don't
think so! After repeated attempts, by Corey, to get it up
Mike Alvares took over and got it up. I hope you don't
suffer this problem too often Corey!!! The cody (a winged
box kite so it does count guys!) was flown on 100feet of
line. This line was attached to the train of box kites and
then the train was launched. As the train took off the line
went slack which caused the cody to take a dive toward the
water. At about 20feet from the water the cody righted
itself and the train rocketed skyward. Mike Alvares later
said that it was one of the most spectacular launches he had
ever seen.
