What is the NSBE Senate?

The NSBE SENATE is designed to make informed decisions on behalf of the Membership of the National Society of Black Engineers.

What is a Senator?

NSBE Senators represent the will of the NSBE Membership. A Senator is responsible for communicating with his or her respective chapter before making decisions on behalf of the chapter.

Senators are designated by each chapter and are responsible for casting votes on behalf of the chapter at regional and national meetings.

Senators are continuously trained throughout the year about the governing of the Society, issues of the Society and parliamentary procedure to assist with the decision making process.
