Hovannes Kulhandjian is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University at Buffalo (UB), the State University of New York (SUNY). He received his B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering with "magna cum laude" from the American University in Cairo (AUC) in 2008. In 2010 he received his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Currently, he is working in the Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems (WiNES) Laboratory at UB under Prof. Tommaso Melodia.
On August 1st, 2014, Hovannes Kulhandjian successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation entitled, "Enabling High Throughput and Secure Underwater Wireless Networks through Advanced Signal Processing Techniques."
