Girls in grades 6 through 9 will become tech savvy in 2009 through fun workshops in science, engineering, technology, and math.... and have a chance to win a new computer. TS4 also features concurrent sessions for parents, leaders, and other interested adults.
The TS4 committee is pleased to announce our featured speaker for the day: Major Melissa R. Eslinger of the United States Army. Major Eslinger is Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Her military career has included many logistics and planning responsibilities, and her professional interests include the study of bioterroism and threat agents. Major Eslinger is trained in oncology, epidemiology, and molecular genetics. She completed her graduate studies at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, here in Buffalo.
