Using an Audio Analysis System

| In
this KSB you will be introduced to computer software that you will
use to analyze sound. You will input audio into the program and analyze
the sound by both it's amplitude
and frequency.
You will also determine the component frequencies found in sounds
by using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) function. This will enable
you to determine which harmonics are found in the music. Harmonics
give music its character and in many ways correspond to the quality
of music. Refer to Virtual
Field Trip #1 for an introduction to harmonics as they relate
