Connect the Vernier ULI (or other computer interface) and microphone to the computer. Launch Logger Pro 3 Demo (download Demo Version) or other probeware software.

Configure the software to input sound with the microphone. Set sensor functions and data collection options; open a FFT window and table. Select the correct FFT options and filtering as directed by your teacher.

Input several different sounds from a variety of sources. Select at least one voice, one percussion instrument, one string instrument and one wind instrument.
