Samuela Franceschini

My name is Samuela Franceschini. This is my second year in the in the Master Program in Environmental Engineering and my six year overall at the University at Buffalo. Even though all my credits hours at this point almost give me a professional student status, I had also some experience in the real working world, through summer internships and the involvement in research projects with faculty in the department. Both opportunities to work with professionals outside the classroom structure have been great experiences for me.  The thing that I most appreciate however is the fact that what I had learned in the classroom and in particular in the Environmental Engineering Program prepared me for the working world and made me confident in my skills and in what I can offer to future employers.

The Environmental Engineering Program is not only an excellent academic program, but it also offers the opportunity to work with really knowledgeable and friendly people, on research projects which end goal is to benefit the community at large.

I would do it all over again if I was asked to; maybe I would try to do it in fewer years though!!!
