Describe your experiences in the UB School of Engineering.

"UB has certainly offered a challenging engineering education, but all the energy and effort I've put forth has been worth it. I found the professors to be intelligent, compassionate men and women who are energized in their research areas. I think that UB's size is often looked upon as a disadvantage, when in reality it works to our benefit by increasing the number, variety, and magnitude of opportunities available to students here. I have had the chance to make many professional contacts through student clubs and academic courses ,as well as, be eligible for special scholarships and work opportunities through UB."

What drew you to the UB BS Environmental Engineering?

"I was first introduced to the BS Environmental Program in my Junior year at UB. I had already started a BS Civil program with the intent of focusing my elective courses in the Environmental area. Once I learned that I could further specialize in Environmental Engineering, I signed up for the program right away! The faculty in the UB EES program were a great source of support and motivation for my studies. In fact, they have all been among the best instructors I've had here. The students in the program are also very interested in the material and these elements worked together to create a great academic environment."
