Dale D. Meredith is currently Professor of Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering at State University of New York at Buffalo . Dr. Meredith received a B.S. in 1963, an M.S. in 1964, and a Ph.D. in 1968 in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His teaching and research interests include engineering economics, planning of civil engineering systems, water resources planning and management, optimization, hydrology, water resources systems, economics of water resources planning, water pollution control systems, and reservoir operations. Recently funded research focused on water quality and sediment p roblems in streams and lakes, design of stormwater retention basins, reservoir operating rules, water distribution network analysis and design, and hydrology of landfills.
