Profiles
Howard Kellick
Greetings. My name is Howard
Kellick. I'm currently a second year graduate student in
Environmental Engineering, here at the University of Buffalo. I'm
currently working on my thesis under the guidance of Dr. Atkinson.
Over my many years here at UB, I've taken a number of courses
ranging in treatment system design, groundwater remediation and,
my topic of interest, modeling of natural water systems. I've
really enjoyed the chance to learn here and to put that knowledge
to task whenever necessary. What I particularly like about UB's
classes is the stress on the real world problems and situations. I
believe my time here has not only prepared me to pass my FE exam,
but prepared me for he working world.
The University of Buffalo
Environmental Engineering program is an excellent academic program
and one I'd suggest for anyone interested in becoming an
environmental engineer. It's based in real world situations,
offers many opportunities for research and a chance to work with
faculty and staff who are not only knowledge on their fields of
interest, but very personable and willing to help as much as they
can.
