This enrichment program is designed for academically qualified students interested in exploring the wonder and excitement of science, math and technology in a hands-on learning environment. Programs include field trips and career speakers.

The Buffalo-area Engineering Awareness for Minorities (BEAM) and the School of Engineering traditionally collaborate to provide 8-10 academically talented local high school students an introduction to engineering research.Through this familarization, it is hoped that these students will be stimulated to pursue an engineering education and ultimately aspire to a career in engineering.
