UB Engineering Alumni Association

The UB Engineering Alumni Association (EAA) enjoys a variety of great events throughout the year. Our group cheers on the Bulls during the Annual Football Tailgate party as well as the Annual Basketball event. Other yearly events include: the presentation of EAA Scholarships at the school's Scholarship Reception every spring and the awarding of UB Engineer of the Year. EAA is also active with student clubs as we sponsor many engineering club activities. Finally, the UB Alumni Association (UBAA) covenes the Pillars Society, a reunion activity for a distinguished group of UB graduates of 50 or more years ago. We are proud to have EAA members among this group's ranks. Please join us at one or more of our events.

Central to the activities that we plan is the necessity of the group to earn income through membership dues. Our joint dues with the UB Alumni Association is split between the two groups to finance their programs.

Joint membership gives EAA members access to the UBAA and its comprehensive program of outreach to UB alumni throughout the world. UBAA are very active in bringing current students together with alumni for professional mentoring and have an outstanding program which recognizes leading alumni. Every year the UBAA gives out the UB Alumni Achievement Awards and engineering alums have frequently been so honored.

EAA is excited about the new opportunities we will have to work with UBAA to continue and expand our tradition of excellence in alumni programming.
