Scholarships
The UB Engineering and Applied Sciences Alumni Association invites all Junior and Senior Engineering and Applied Sciences students in good standing to apply for UB Engineering and Applied Sciences Alumni Scholarships. In 1992, the UB Engineering Alumni Association established a Scholarship Program that annually awards several scholarships to UB Engineering and Applied Sciences students. The scholarships recognize “Leaders in Excellence” and their objective is to encourage students to develop “Engineering Spirit” and loyalty to the UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Scholarship applicants are evaluated on the following criteria:
- Demonstration of leadership in an organization or on a project
- Presentation of application materials (written and oral)
- Holding a position in a technical society or other campus organization
- Work on student committees
- Involvement in campus activities
- Involvement in community activities
- Participation in social functions
- Part time work (job or internships)
- Scholastic accomplishment
Scholarship funds are the result of generous contributions received from Alumni which are deposited in the Engineering and Applied Sciences Alumni Scholarship Account within the University at Buffalo Foundation. To make a donation please click here.
