Social events

Throughout the year, we sponsor social events for alums, including our annual Football Tailgate, UB Engineers at Basketball, Student Scholarship Reception and our combined Order of the Engineer and Engineer of the Year event.

Student support

Every year we award several student scholarships; details can be found on our Scholarships Page.

We sponsor the annual Fall and Spring Engineering Student Picnics, and we help sponsor the Engineering Student Ball each spring when it is held. We also fund individual engineering student club activities, including participation in competitions such as ASCE's Concrete Canoe and SAE's Clean Snowmobile Challenge. Engineering student clubs may apply for funding from the Engineering and Applied Sciences Alumni Association by using this
