Engineering Cooperative Society

The Engineering Cooperative Society's main purpose is to serve as a forum to bring together students in Engineering, Science and Technology to discuss and interact about ideas, projects, innovations, and other mutually relevant interests.

It will also serve as an informational resource center for members. Information about the different Engineering disciplines, tutoring, advisement, scholarships, and other issues relevant to one's college experience as a current or prospective Engineering student will be available. As Engineering is a very broad field, advice on course combinations, flow charts and courses one needs to take for certain concentrations in ones discipline will also be available.

The ECS does not aim to work in opposition with any of the other clubs in the Engineering Council but in harmony, to foster our general interests. In this day and age no discipline can strive alone, projects involve Engineers from numerous (if not all) disciplines before a product or system can be developed. It is this same principle of cooperation and interdependence that the ECS hopes to apply to bring together the different organizations in the Engineering council to foster our environment's and society's development.

The ECS works in close contact with the Engineering Advisement Center, The Engineering Career Institute, Engineering Departments, and other Engineering based campus organizations to provide Members with a well rounded scope of resources that will enable them to succeed.
