West Coast: The West Coast competition will be held in Fesno, CA, April 29 - May 1, hosted by the California State University, Fresno.
East Coast:   The East Coast competition will be held in Tuscaloosa, AL, April 22 - 24, hosted by The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.

"... in order to make the competition more accessible to East Coast schools, the Blacksburg event was added to the annual competition.  The University at Buffalo was the only team to participate in both competitions." ~ ASME News, July 2002
