Kinetics and Reaction Engineering TExT

Status Fall 2011

 

The KaRE TExT is a work in progress. I am teaching kinetics and reaction engineering this fall. My goal is to have the Information, Examples, Learning Tools and Teaching Tools for the entire TExT completed by the end of the semester. I also will be starting to add problems to the Practice Tools section of all units, but they will remain far from complete. As I go through the TExT this fall, I intend to implement the following revisions:

  • Fix display of examples in browsers where it currently fails
  • Bundle quizzes for each unit in a single .zip file and eliminate previews
  • Provide unrestricted links for students to download problem statements and data files for problems
  • Provide .pdf printouts of Maple and MatLab output so students who don't have these programs can still see the code and results
  • Add Matlab solutions to examples that don't have them
