The objective of this web page is to facilitate communication and sharing of information between investigators in different parts of the country. Researchers from the University of Iowa and University at Buffalo will be using Calspan Corporation's atmospheric research testing chamber to conduct their experiments.
The organization of the web site provides easy access to the necessary information from the home page. The top section of the home page includes the web site title, project logo, and a link to the project's sponsor. In the next section, the yellow box on the left side contains links to general information about the chamber facility and project. The images on the right side refer to the links on the left. A description of the link appears when the mouse pointer is over the image. "Chamber Images" is a short presentation giving an overview of the chamber, while "Chamber and Instrumentation" shows the equipment available at the facility. "Port Details (with plan views)" links the report, "Calspan Atmospheric Research Testing Chamber Port Details and Ventilation Layout" in a frames format with the plan views of the chamber. The locations of the ports are conveniently seen next to their descriptions. "Chamber Design" links a report explaining the technical aspects of the chamber, and "List of Images" refers to a page with links to all the images included in the web site. "Investigators" has the contact information for those involved with the project, and "Schedule" gives a time line of the project. The last section contains the titles of the main and sub-projects, with links to their abstracts and the project proposal. Contact information for the web page development team is included at the end.
