Jacob, a Ph. D. Candidate, matriculated in 2010 after completing his Master's thesis research in Jim Dumesic's labs at the University of Wisconsin. His Master's coursework was completed at Fachhochschule Münster (FH Muenster). He has a B. S. in chemical engineering (2008) from U. B. Jacob will be studying the selectivity of carbohydrate hydrolysis and pyrolysis.
