Varun matriculated in 2010. He earned his bachelor of engineering in chemical engineering in July 2009 from the University of Bombay. Varun worked for Vasu Chemicals after his graduation before coming here to the University at Buffalo. For his Master's degree he studied the reactivity of levulinic acid using computational chemistry.
