Research Interests: freshwater macroinvertebrate ecology; stream ecology; invasive species in the Great Lakes; ecological stoichiometry; mercury in the environment; and insect behavioral ecology

Current Projects:

  • Impact of non-native round gobies in Lake Erie tributary streams
  • Role of intraguild predation on invasion success in amphipods
  • Investigating learning and memory differences in predator avoidance behavior of invasive crayfish
