How to Receive Your Grades

• For students seeking financial reimbursement, you may obtain a transcript of your grades by completing
  the "Transcript Request Form" at http://www.src.buffalo.edu/pdf/0506transcriptrequest.pdf
  
  Additional graduate information may be found at http://www.grad.buffalo.edu/policies/index.php
  

• Go to web site http://www.myub.buffalo.edu/
  
• You will be given a prompt to enter a user name and password
  
• The required name and password are the same as your UB unix user name and password ** If you do not know your user name and password, see Require Info: orientation.htm
• Enter the required information
  
• See heading "My Academic Tools" and click on the link "My Grades and GPA".

   

• Dial 716-645-7800 from a touch tone phone
  
• Follow voice prompts through the menu (outlined below is the process for obtaining grades only)
  
• Press 2 for grades
  
• Enter 9-digit social security number or 8-digit UB person number followed by the pound key
  
• If the info you entered was correct, press 4; if it needs to be corrected, press 5
  
• Enter 4-digit pin number
• If this is your first time using BIRD, your pin number is pre-set to your 4-digit MONTH and DAY of birth (for example, if your birthday is May 4th, enter 0504). BIRD will prompt you to change your pin number to something more secure after this first entry
  
• Enter the code number for the desired semester of grades (1 for spring, 6 for summer, 9 for fall)
  
• Enter the 2-digit year of the desired semester (for example, to see grades from fall 2006, enter 06)
  
• You will hear a listing of your grades for the chosen semester, and then have the option to choose another semester, return to the main menu, or end the call
  
• Follow the voice prompts for your desired action
