An opportunity for
civil engineering juniors to apply knowledge to problems of interest
to industry in a cooperative education program.

Course Objectives/Outcomes
|
The Civil Engineering Co-op is a series of
work-experience courses and is counted as a 3-credit technical
elective after completion of a full year of work experience. It is
intended to provide students an exposure to the practice of
engineering in real world. Emphasis is on applying the knowledge
acquired in course work to the practice of Civil Engineering and to
learn the techniques of making sound written and oral technical
presentations.
