Prize money

 The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering has graciously agreed to sponsor cash awards for the MEGA EVENT. Prize money will be awarded to top three teams.

·         First Place -        $ 70

·         Second Place -   $ 50

·         Third Place -       $ 30

Team representatives of winning teams will be contacted by e-mail and prize money checks will be made out in their name. (Members of these teams should coordinate with their representatives.) 

 

Based on the Precision shooting contest and bonus Maximum distance throw, following are the winners of the competition.       

  • First Prize:-  Team I

  • Second Prize:- Team H

  • Third Prize:- Team G

 

We will send an email to each winner group with instructions on how to get the prize money.

 

Schedule:

 

  • Competition is scheduled on Friday, Dec 10 in the Student Union Lobby.
  • Final Report is due on Monday, Dec 20 before 5 pm in Dr. Krovi’s office (1011 Furnas)

 

Submission Requirements
  • Hard Copy
  • Soft Copy (*.doc, *.ps or *.pdf format)
  • Virtual Prototypes
  • Assembly Models
  • Any Movies that may have been created.
    NOTE: Submit the soft copy and Virtual Prototypes via UBLearns or bring the soft copy and Virtual Prototypes on a CD or a Zip Disk.

·          A link to Sample Evaluation  Form which will be used by judges during the competition to evaluate innovativeness, aesthetics, compactness etc. (The score from this form will constitute 20 % of the total project grade).
