Industry University DayIndustry University Day is a day that brings industrial partners, the University at Buffalo, and the UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences together to share and understand one another in a collaborative relationship. The day is filled with activities, including guest speakers, the discussion of issues vital to the success of engineering, and positive interaction. Industry is constantly facing change, making the relationship resourceful for innovation and discovery and the placement of engineering interns. The partnership is a valuable asset to the University as well, supplying funding for research, program, and educational assistance. IU Day began in 1996 and the success of each event fuels the next. As the industries of engineering and the UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences continuously work in a cooperative relationship, the benefits will grow and the field of engineering will prosper.
