Donor Stories

Donors are what bring greatness to this university and its students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

The stories that our donors carry touch the hearts of all and inspire the UB tradition of excellence to carry forward. Some of our donors have provided us with a special gift that is guaranteed to last a lifetime- their story.

It is with much pleasure that we share their stories with you. There are stories of the Dr. John Zahorjan Student Scholarship Fund, providing support to the academic studies of students, and the Henry Stone Graduate Assistant fund to benefit a minority graduate student in engineering. There are stories that tell of the connections and memories created by our alumni, like the story told by Dexter Johnson and the support systems that he found in engineering.

These stories and others are what bring us together, remind us of who we are and what lies ahead.

Click on a story below and share in the memories.
